Fundraising - Fundraising is the key aspect of our organizations success! We continue to provide outstanding coach's, great experiences for your kids development and growth in the sport of basketball. And we continue to offer all this at one of the lowest membership fees in the state.
To help offset your membership even further, the CT Wave offers a unique fundraising opportunity for those who wish to participate.
Every year the CT Wave hosts its own AAU tournament which has been very successful for the past 7 years. We boast over 80 teams from all over New England in this two day event each year in June over in Storrs CT.
We are one of the few tournaments that produce a Tournament program with, schedule, team listings, area restraunt coupons, team pictures and more!.
In these programs we give the players and parents of the CT Wave the opportunity to sell advertisements and personal ads for your team or player. These advertisements come in different sizes and values. They can be area coupons, business cards, full page ads, and personals from relatives or friends.
50% of the Ads that you sell will go directly back to you. (ie If you sell a 1/2 page ad for $250, you will receive back $125) If you already paid you Membership fee for 2010 you will receive a reimbursement check for your portion.
You can download the files on this page to help you get started in your recruiting efforts. You will need to download the CT Wave Mission Statement, Program Ad Response Form, and Receipt to have all the tools you will need to get out and start getting ads.
